• It is official; the 2^nd rendition of the 11^th Annual Satches.com Golf Tournament is on.           

  First of all, I want to thank everyone for the understanding and SUPPORT  you gave Lisa &  me after I had to cancel last years event. Dad is doing ok 9 months after the two heart attacks. We moved Mom & Dad into an independent living facility and have a caregiver there from 9:00am til 9:00pm. I have been flying to Houston every four weeks to be the weekend caregiver for them.  It  is good to spend the weekend with them and I know that they appreciate it. It is the least I can do. Thank you again for all of your thoughts and prayers for my folks.

  I made two very important phone calls over this past weekend: Bear Trace Golf Course and Piney Point Resort.

  As for Bear Trace Golf Course, we are booked in for Friday October 29^th beginning at 9:27am. As we have done in the past, we will go over to the course, leaving Piney Point around 8:00am, and exchange pleasantries, have breakfast, go over the always important rules, and draw the Teams. After the event, we will present the awards then adjourn to Piney Point for more pleasantries, tall tales, watch the sunset, and dinner.

  Secondly, accommodations this year  will  be at Piney Point Resort. Wayne and Jane have blocked off the camp for us as they did  the last couple of years.  Please contact Wayne and Jane directly [(423) 365-6262] for 5 Star, peace  and quiet, reservations. Well it is peaceful and quiet before and after we are there.
